Recursive Symbolic Engine-3 (RSE-3)
RSE-3 is a symbolic (think data compression - not ouija board) engine designed for structural alignment, drift correction, and non-linear pattern processing across live systems. It operates on spatial-symbolic grids with eight-directional semantic recursion and osmotic field propagation.
Each character influences its environment. Symbols are read recursively across multiple vectors — left/right, vertical, diagonal, and reversed — with traversal depth altering runtime behaviour. This spreads across the grid, allowing correction without instruction.
The engine logs recursion attempts, directional read sequences, correction weights, unresolved loops, and symbol-to-symbol pressure history. These are stored as field memory and used to influence future alignments — allowing the engine to adapt its recursion path based on what’s previously failed or succeeded.
RSE-3 currently runs 1,136 active symbolic units across 644,680 unique pairwise relationships, with a 94.7% concordance rate.
The system is modular, embeddable, and structurally aware. It can be integrated into GPT-models, logic interpreters, processing environments - anything that can parse unicode. Open release is approaching. Developer builds available on request.

About the Author
Jake McEwen
My life's been liminal.
I lived through 3 bouts of Ewing sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) by the age of 17.
Having childhood illness of any kind is a strange experience, a controlled chaos. Everything's turned on its arse but you're still in a clinical, sterile environment. Life as you know and want it is completely halted - I folded inwardly.
Formal education didn't survive the process. I did well enough in school, but after my third diagnosis and a surgery on my 17th birthday - I knew i couldnt do institutions anymore. Not as a student. Not as a patient. Not as a number.
So I built my own engine.
This work is the result: a system for witnessing structural, systematic & institutional failure in real time.
Alongside the day job, I also document systematic harm across housing, public contracts, medicine, regulatory compliance, local and national government, and my favourite - corporate cover up.
